Advice for first use of the terracotta baking dish

  • Wash the base of the baking dish and its lid with cold water.
  • Let them air dry
  • Rub the terracotta part of the base and the inside of the lid with olive oil or animal fat
  • Heat the oven to 170°, leave the baking dish in it for 3 hours
  • Let it cool
